Microsoft to detail international Surface Pro availability in a few weeks

The Surface isn’t even on sale yet (but our review is now up) and for the time being, will only be on sale in the US/Canada. For those outside the walls of North America and are wondering when you will be able to get your paws on the Surface Pro, the best available information is “in the coming months”.

It’s not as bad as you might think as according to the Surface Team member named Ben, we should learn more about international distribution in the next few weeks. A question was asked to the Surface team about when the device would be available in Europe, Ben stated:

We’ll have more to share in the coming weeks with additional markets in the coming months

While not a perfect answer about when others will be able to get their hands on the Pro, it does give a rough timeline of when the product will become available in other markets.

If you haven’t done so yet, make sure to check out our review of the Surface Pro.
