Those running the beta version of Microsoft"s To-Do app for Android are getting an update today, which adds Planner integration to the app. Microsoft Planner is the company"s task management tool for organization, so the connection makes sense, and essentially it means that tasks that have been assigned to you in Planner will show up in a dedicated "Assigned to me" list in To-Do.
The feature comes with version 1.56.7666 of the app, and it doesn"t seem to be available for other platforms just yet. This release also includes a number of bug fixes for Android users:
- Ensure cursor position is at the end when editing multiple steps
- Autosave steps when tapping dates/other steps
- Do not change reminder time when a recurrence is added
- Accessibility: Scroll search results as user gets to the bottom of list
- Ensure Flagged setting is shown correctly after confirmation dialog is dismissed
- Sign out state after last user signed out
Microsoft To-Do has gained a fair number of integrations since its inception, and it now works with Cortana and Microsoft Launcher. It can even add flagged e-mails to a dedicated list to help you find them more easily.
If you"re interested, you can download Microsoft To-Do for Android from the Play Store, and sign up for the beta to get access to new features more quickly. To-Do is also available for iOS, Windows 10, and on the web.
