Microsoft"s To-Do task manager has been receiving a series of updates over the past couple of months, including the Planned smart list which was added to its web version in September. The feature basically works to collect and organize tasks for the next five days or so.
Today, the task management app"s iOS version has received a new set of updates entirely focused on the Planned smart list. The update bumps up the app"s version number to 1.44. Here"s what has changed:
- We’ve added sections to the Planned smart list, so you can easily see your scheduled tasks grouped by Today, Tomorrow and beyond. You can even keep track of those past due tasks under Overdue.
- And if you’d rather not see those tasks from the past or those too far in the future, you also have the option to collapse each section in Planned. Just hide the other sections to focus on your tasks due Today, Tomorrow or beyond.
- We’ve also added the option to automatically hide your empty smart lists, so you won’t see an empty Planned or Important list in the sidebar.
With the latest improvements, it"s now easier to view your list of items according to the day for which they"re scheduled. Also, the ability to hide empty lists was previously added to the Windows 10 version of To-Do last week. The updated app is available to download from the Apple App Store today.
