Microsoft wants to give people who are going to be staying up all night after Thanksgiving a way to get some recent Xbox 360 games at some highly reduced prices. We are talking about November 25, also known as Black Friday. It is supposed to be the start of the holiday shopping season (although it seems like some retailers are already in holiday mode with some pre-Black Friday sales weekends ... but that"s another story).
Destructoid reports that Microsoft will offer price cuts on four Xbox 360 games that are two months old or less. Epic Games" best selling third person shooter Gears of War 3 will get a price reduction down to $39.99 for Black Friday. That"s also the same price for Forza Motorsport 4, the latest game in the racing simulation series from Turn 10 Interactive.
For those of you who also have a Kinect motion controller sensor to go along with your game console, two recently recently Kinect games will have a price cut for Black Friday. Kinect Sports 2 and Harmonix"s best selling Dance Central 2 can be bought on that day for just $29.99 each.
If you don"t have a Kinect controller, Microsoft will offer that accessory for the Xbox 360 for a mere $99.99 on Black Friday. Finally you can get a pre-paid three month Xbox Live Gold card for just $12.99 on that day.
A number of retailers will be offering price cuts on the Xbox 360 console itself on Black Friday. We will report on those deals as we get closer to the big day.
