When the Xbox One was announced at E3 2013, Microsoft made a big deal about the original content that would be coming to the platform. While this year"s E3 event did not mention said content, Microsoft will be releasing the first bit of this TV series on June 15th.

Original content is one way that Microsoft hopes to separate itself from other platforms. While almost every device can stream Netflix and other services, Microsoft hopes its original content will entice users over to its platform.
It’s not a bad idea, nor is it new, seeing that Netflix has gone down this route and HBO has been doing it for decades with success, it makes sense for Microsoft to try this route. The content will be available one the Xbox One and Xbox 360; it will also be available on Xbox video on your PC, Windows Phone and the web but not all features will be available on these platforms.
If you don’t like soccer, Microsoft is working on other content that will be released likely later this year. But for now, the company is hoping to stimulate the Xbox user base with a bit of soccer related content.
