Microsoft unveils redesigned WindowsEmbedded.com

Microsoft has just taken the wrapping paper off of one of its newest websites, windowsembedded.com.  The new site was launched today at 10AM PST and is a new effort to help those who use the software and systems.

The new website is supposed to help optimize the experience of looking for resources. It has been given greater visibility to search engines, 4x as much content as before and site now offers something for all Windows Embedded groups.

For those not familiar with Windows Embedded, it "is a set of operating systems and tools that can help device manufacturers reduce time to market and improve connected device performance. Windows Embedded technology powers embedded systems that enable organizations to connect to IT infrastructure, increase staff efficiency, and improve customer satisfaction."

The new site looks clean and more user friendly which should help out users who are looking for information about the services offered. Also, "this is only the beginning as over the next 6 weeks new features and functionality will be added to the site to enhance the experience."
