The preview versions of Windows 10 come with their own set of bugs, issues and problems and that’s why they’re not for the fainthearted. Luckily Microsoft is giving its beta testers a hand and has released an updated graphics driver to fix some issues.
If you’re running Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3 make sure to check for updates this morning as an updated version of the Intel graphics driver should be waiting for you. After installing, video playback issues as well as some other bugs should be resolved.
Microsoft has released a number of hotfixes, updates, and patches and for its preview builds, many of which have addressed some serious issues. It’s important to update and test these as soon as possible so that future builds get more stable.
Speaking of which, we’re expecting a new preview build to be released in February. Microsoft didn’t announce anything besides the phone and small tablet preview of Windows 10, but the company did say that long waits between builds are a thing of the past and that a new version would come out “soon-ish”.
