Microsoft wants you to decide which casual games it should make next

Microsoft has published several casual games both on Windows and Windows Phone, which includes Microsoft Mahjong, Bingo, Minesweeper and Solitaire Collection. Now, the studio behind these games want you to decide which casual games it should make next.

There are five options from which users are required to vote for their top 3. The games include:

  • Chess - Microsoft Chess is back and better than ever! Play against the computer, against a friend, or use the matchmaker to find someone to play in a rated or casual game. You can have multiple games going at the same time and there are new Daily Challenges every day to exercise your brain.
  • Bubble - Do you enjoy shooting bubbles upward and bouncing them off walls to try to make a match of 3 or more so they all pop and fall down? Classic bubble shooter games have been around for years and if you like this style of game, you will love Microsoft Bubble. With multiple game modes, powerups and daily challenges, you can try to pop past your friends or just relax and see how far you can get on your own!
  • Casino - Take a gamble and let it ride in Microsoft Casino. A common bankroll across multiple games- including Video Poker, Blackjack, Slots, Craps, and Roulette. The most beautiful Casino title, optimized for Windows 10! Play for free and collect good luck charms to up your odds of winning!
  • Hearts - Microsoft Hearts has been a staple in Windows for many years, and it"s coming back! With single player, multiplayer and Daily Challenges, this game is sure to capture the hearts of everyone from the first time player to the true master.
  • Word - With several word games, multiplayer tournament modes, and new Daily Challenges every day, Microsoft Ultimate Word Games is the best collection of word games you"ll find.

Although it is a decent move to let players choose which game they want to play next, it is a bit disappointing to see that a couple of other arguably more popular games such as 3D Pinball for Windows - Space Cadet and SkiFree - which were published by Microsoft and were packaged with older versions of Windows including Windows NT 4.0 and XP - are not part of the voting process. Voting period for the above five games closes on 17 December 2015.
