Microsoft"s Xbox Game Pass is quickly shaping up to be quite the lucrative deal, especially with the company"s promise to make all of its first-party titles available to Game Pass owners on the day they"re launched. This includes big-name titles like Forza Horizon, Crackdown 3 and any future Halo titles, alongside a catalogue of more than 100 games in total.
As spotted by Gamespot, though, for a very short time this week, the company"s game subscription service will be almost too good to pass up. As a footnote description on the Xbox Game Pass page on Microsoft"s website shows, the software giant is planning on running a promotion starting 9PM PDT on Thursday and ending 11:59 PDT the next day that will net you three months of the service for just $1. New subscribers to the service can already get their first month for $1, compared to its normal price of $9.99 per month.
Unfortunately, however, those in Russia or Quebec are ineligible for the promotion. It can also only be activated once per account and once the trial period runs out, Microsoft will start charging you at a quarterly rate (that is, every three months) if you don"t cancel the subscription.
