Earlier today, a new build of Windows 10 found its way to the Internet and with it comes a few updates to the company"s new browser, Edge. While the branding is still stuck with Spartan, expect that to change in the near future as we approach the release date.
In build 10134, Microsoft has added two new options, a new home button and the ability to import favorites from another browser. The home button, as the name suggests, adds a home button next to the URL bar to make it easier to get back to your homepage.
The importing of favorites is a simple process, open settings and click the link to import the content. Once you click the link, you"ll have the option to select which browsers you want to aggregate your favorites from and then click import, that"s it.
Both of these features are small additions to the browser but seeing that Microsoft is starting all over again with the interface and most of the features for Edge, each new addition goes a long way to building a better browser.
We fully expect Microsoft to keep including small additions to Edge right up until the browser is released. Windows 10 will be released to consumers around the world on July 29th and you can reserve your free upgrade copy right now.
Thanks for the tip Ahmad!
