In February, Microsoft launched the Lumia 650, the last of the Lumia line of Windows phones. The Windows 10 Mobile handset went on sale in various markets including the UK, where it was priced at £159.99 SIM-free from the Microsoft Store, and other major retailers such as Amazon.
At the end of May, Amazon cut its price to £129.99, and then again to £119.99 a few days later. Microsoft matched that latter amount with an official price cut in July, but Amazon pushed its price down even further, to around £105. The Microsoft Store cut its price to £109.99 last month, but now, Amazon has once again reduced the Lumia 650"s price, down to just £99.95.
Only the black model is now available from Amazon itself; the white version is listed as out of stock with availability "within 1 to 2 months", although some third-party Amazon Marketplace sellers are offering the white model for around £110.
The Lumia 650"s key specs include:
- 5-inch OLED with HD (1280x720px) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3
- Quad-core 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB onboard storage (plus microSD card support up to 200GB)
- 8MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and 720p video recording at 30fps
- 5MP front-facing camera with continuous autofocus, "video light" and 720p video at 30fps

- Removable 2000mAh battery

At its new low price, the metal-framed handset may well prove appealing to some buyers. The Lumia 650 earned itself a very high score in our review earlier this year, thanks to its beautiful display, impressive cameras, and sleek design.
