Microsoft's Lumia 950 drops to £344 in the UK

Earlier this week, the Lumia 950 - the smaller of Microsoft’s two Windows 10 Mobile flagship phones - reached a new low price in the UK. Popular device retailer Expansys reduced the cost of the handset to £369.99, as it apparently no longer intends to sell the device, or its larger sibling, the 950 XL.

Microsoft originally listed the Lumia 950 at £499.99, before reducing its price by £50 before sales officially began. Since the device launched in the UK in December, its price has continued to fall - both on the Microsoft Store and via independent retailers.

Now, the Lumia 950 is available for just £343.88 from Amazon.co.uk. That price applies specifically to the black model, and the stock is sold and dispatched by Amazon itself, rather than a third-party Marketplace seller.

Microsoft cut the official price of the Lumia 950 to £419.99 back in January, and it continues to sell the handset for that amount. At just under £344, Amazon"s current price is around £76 (18%) lower than that of the Microsoft Store.

That also makes it the lowest price for the device so far, by a considerable margin, from one of Microsoft"s official UK retail partners. It means that the 950 can now be purchased for £156 (31%) less than Microsoft"s original asking price, and £106 (24%) below the price at which it launched just four months ago.
