Minecraft is no stranger to crossovers, and the latest one to be introduced to the behemoth block-based sandbox title is from a galaxy far, far away. The official Minecraft Star Wars DLC Mojang Studios unveiled today has skins, a licensed soundtrack, flyable vehicles, locations, and much more from the sci-fi universe.
The new Mash-up Pack contains content from the original trilogy - A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi -, and The Mandalorian series. This includes Star Wars-themed UI and audio elements, skins for players, mobs, and items, plus a pre-built map full of iconic locations that present various scenes from the franchise.
Moreover, Mojang has included X-wings, Tie Fighters, and the Razor Crest as flyable ships that let players jump to locations like Tatooine, Hoth, Endor, Nevarro, and the Death Stars.
The Star Wars DLC for Minecraft is now available for purchase via the Minecraft Marketplace. Also, this is not the only Microsoft and Disney partnership that has cropped up recently, as the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription currently offers a 30-day trial of Disney+ for free.
