More official specs of the Redmi Note 7 Pro appear on TENAA

Redmi"s Chief Executive Officer Lu Weibing confirmed late last week that the upcoming Redmi Note 7 Pro will debut sometime this week. Now, prior to the smartphone"s official unveiling, some specs of the device have popped up on the Chinese telecommunications agency TENAA, indicating nearly premium hardware capabilities under the hood.

According to the spec sheet, the mid-range handset will sport a 6.3-inch LCD display with a 1080 x 2340 resolution and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, owing to a supposed waterdrop notch. Inside, it will pack 3GB, 4GB, or 6GB of RAM and 32GB, 64GB, or 128GB of storage configurations.

The phone was previously rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 675 SoC, though it"s not reflected in TENAA"s listing, which only reveals that the device will include an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of 2.0 GHz.

There will be a total of eight color variants of the phone including black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple, and gray. Additionally, the handset will run Android 9.0 Pie, probably with Xiaomi"s MIUI skin on top. It will also pack a 3,900mAh battery.

Other recently confirmed specs of the Redmi Note 7 Pro include a dual camera setup on the back with a 48MP main lens featuring the Sony IMX586 sensor. Its rumored price is ¥999 (~$149), which will likely give its mid-range rivals a run for their money.
