More pics emerge of Nokia Lumia 520 and 720

Yesterday, two images surfaced purporting to show two new Nokia Windows Phones, the Lumia 520 and Lumia 720. Today, two more images have emerged from the same source, revealing a little bit more of the two handsets, including a clearer view of the reverse of each device.

The source of these pics is the well-informed @evleaks Twitter account, which has frequently revealed accurate images and information about a variety of new handsets in the past, so there"s a pretty good chance that these are the real deal.

The first of today"s tweets shows us a bit more of the Lumia 520, a device that"s expected to feature a 4-inch display, a 1GHz processor, 8GB of on-board storage, 512MB of RAM and a 5MP rear-camera.

The second image gives us a slightly better view of the back of the Lumia 720, a handset that"s believed to include a slightly larger 4.3-inch ClearBlack display, 1GHz processor, 8GB of on-board storage and 512MB of RAM, along with a 6MP rear cam and a 2MP camera up front. The 720 appears to offer Carl Zeiss optics, whereas the absence of these markings on the 520 appears to indicate that that handset does not.

The specs of both devices suggest that they will slot in below the Lumia 820 in Nokia"s range, and extending the variety of budget-friendly Windows Phone 8 handsets offered by the company, in addition to the recently launched Lumia 620, which we"ll be reviewing shortly.

We expect to learn more about the two new Lumias on Monday, when Nokia holds an announcement at Mobile World Congress - and we"ll be there to bring you full coverage from the event.
