There have been tons of rumors over the past few months that Nokia is working on a large screen "phablet" smartphone, using Windows Phone 8, that would rival Samsung"s Galaxy Note series. Now a new story claims to have more details about this device, along with another Lumia smartphone that could come with a 5.5-6 inch screen.
Nokiapoweruser.com reports, via unnamed sources, that the Nokia Lumia phablet will have a display between 5.5 and 6 inches in size, and will have a camera with hardware similar to the current Nokia Lumia 925. It adds that Nokia could launch the large screen Lumia sometime in September or October. The story added that a second Lumia phablet could launch in February 2014, with higher megapixel numbers for the camera along with a Lytro-style lens.
The same report also claims, again via an unnamed source, that Nokia is working on yet another low cost Windows Phone device for launch in September or October. The report says the design will be similar to the Lumia 720 but lighter and that it will have a 4.7 inch WXGA CBD AMOLED display along with an 8 MP Carl–Zeiss optics camera. The story claims that Nokia will price this phone "very aggressively" but did not go into specifics.
