The Moto Z3 Play has been seen through various leaks over the past couple months and, as you might now expect from Motorola, the handset looked similar to its other devices, sporting a raised island incorporating its camera modules on the rear, that would allow it to accommodate past and future Moto Mods. While it is unclear when this handset will make its official debut, another render has emerged, giving us our clearest look at the device yet.
According to AndroidHeadlines, the image above comes from a trusted source and they believe that this is an official render of the Moto Z3 Play. As you can see, the smartphone will include quite a large screen that attempts to minimize bezels. In doing so, the firm has done away with the physical home button on the front seen on many of its past devices. If prior information is accurate, the handset will arrive with a 6-inch 18:9 1080p display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of internal storage.
As you might have noticed, the handset does not have a fingerprint reader located on the front or the rear. Instead, there is the possibility that Motorola will include one on the side of the device. You can see the alleged space for the reader in the image at the top of the article, underneath the volume rocker buttons. Again, this hasn"t been confirmed but it would seem likely since the power button has been moved to the other side. Also on the rear, we can see the dual camera setup and LED flash, which could pack 12MP and 8MP sensors.
Like other Moto Z-series handsets, we can see the pogo pin connection on the bottom rear that suggests compatibility with Moto Mods. The firm has added quite a bit to its accessory arsenal over the years, with the latest being its Stereo Speaker. As we wait patiently for the Moto Z3 Play to be announced, we can still bask in the light of Motorola"s releases from last week that included the Moto G6, G6 Play, E5 Plus, and E5 Play.
