While Nokia is busy getting lots of attention with the announcement of the Lumia 820 and Lumia 920 Windows Phones, Motorola has also announced some new gadgets, including the DROID RAZR HD smartphone. The device packs a 4.7-inch 720p display, a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 4G LTE, NFC, and a rather large 2,500mAH battery, which Motorola claims will give 24 hours of performance on a single charge. The device will ship with a modified version of Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, however Motorola says it will be upgradeable to Jelly Bean.
The DROID RAZR HD comes in at 8.44mm thin, 67.9 mm wide, and 131.9mm tall. It has a super slim bezel at the edge of the screen, and the back is coated with kevlar.
The device will be heading to Verizon"s 4G network, but a price has yet to be confirmed. Motorola says it is set to ship before the holidays.
