Motorola is reportedly developing a new high-end Android tablet, that aims to woo buyers with the promise of improved productivity and multi-tasking features.
According to Android Police, citing a "trusted source", the new device will have a display around 9 or 10 inches in size, with a "premium look and feel" to its design. At least one model is expected to feature integrated cellular connectivity.
Little is known about the hardware itself, but a screenshot has apparently revealed that the new device will feature a "productivity mode".
The image in the screenshot shows two apps side-by-side, with the caption: "Switch between apps by tapping the app icon in the navigation bar. Long press the app icon and drag it upwards to close the app." The nav buttons are aligned to the left, with a dedicated app drawer button alongside them, while a Gmail icon can be seen pinned to the navigation bar.
As 9to5Google notes, this functionality appears similar to that offered on the Android-based Yoga Book, manufactured by Motorola parent company Lenovo.
