Motorola recently announced its Moto Z2 Play, which is a mid-tier handset that is quite a bit slimmer compared to its predecessor but still offers excellent battery life. Many hoping for a premium version of this handset were left waiting. Luckily, last week, Motorola announced that it would be holding an event in New York to announce new devices with many speculating that it could unveil the heavily leaked Moto Z2.
While we still have a couple weeks until the day of the event, it appears that Motorola"s Chinese website might have already spilled the beans, giving us our first official look at the upcoming handset. As you can see from the image above, taken from the firm"s website, there is a dual lens handset in plain view and looks similar to the Moto Z2, which has been seen in various leaks over the past couple of months. The handset is also surrounded by a variety of new and exciting Moto Mods like the moto gamepad, JBL SoundBoost 2, and the Hasselblad True Zoom.
Of course, we will simply have to wait, but luckily not much longer, as Motorola"s event is scheduled for July 25.
