Motorola Moto E and Moto G LTE available on June 3rd

Earlier this month, Motorola announced two new handsets, the Moto E and Moto G LTE. While release dates weren’t announced it looks like Amazon has shed some light on the subject by posting a June 3rd, 2014 release date on its website.

Both the Moto E and G LTE are unique Android devices that offer immense value at a great price. The Moto E is an all-new entry-level device, while the Moto G LTE is an improved variant of last years, Moto G. The Moto G LTE adds support for a microSD slot and LTE.

The Moto E features:

  • 4.3” 960x540 qHD display, 256ppi
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 200
  • 1GB RAM
  • 4GB user storage; MicroSD slot
  • 5MP Rear Camera
  • 1980mAh battery

The Moto G LTE features:

  • 4.5” 1280x720 display, 329ppi
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
  • 1GB RAM
  • 8GB with microSD slot
  • 5MP Rear camera / 1.3MP front
  • 2070 mAh Battery

The Moto E and Moto G LTE U.S. variants are available for pre-order now through Amazon and Motorola’s website. Although Amazon has a release date of June 3rd, Motorola’s website is a bit vague, only stating that orders should be received around the second week of June. Both Amazon and Motorola have the Moto E priced at $129.99 USD and the Moto G LTE at $219.99 USD.
