Motorola will bring Android 9.0 Pie to several handset this fall

Towards the beginning of the month, Google made Android 9.0 Pie official, releasing the update to its Pixel line of devices. Since that time, the Essential Phone has received the update and HTC has announced plans to bring the OS to a handful of its smartphones. Now, it looks like Motorola is joining the pack, announcing its plans to offer the update to several of its more recent devices.

The firm showed off a list of its smartphones that will be getting the update. As you can see from the list, the company is choosing to focus its efforts on more recently released smartphones.

While this is exciting, there is still quite sometime before the company will make the update available. The Android 9.0 Pie update for Motorola phones listed above is slated to arrive sometime in the fall. If interested in all of the new features and improvements found in Android 9.0 Pie, be sure to head to the Google website for more details.
