Following on from the Project NEON updates to the Groove Music app last week, now the Movies & TV app has received the same UI tweaks for Windows Insiders.
We reported back in November last year that Microsoft was internally experimenting with an evolution of its (formerly called) "Metro" design language. Since then, more information and concept designs have leaked offering a glimpse of what"s to come. However, it seems that with the Creators Update about to roll out for everyone, Microsoft is pressing on with implementing Project NEON across its apps.
Project NEON on the Movies & TV apps works and looks just like it does on the Groove Music app. The “blur” on the titlebar isn’t really noticeable, and the quality seems a bit too low at the moment when compared to Windows 7’s Aero Glass. In fact, the blur effect is barely noticeable when you have the app’s light theme enabled (top image).
If you"re a Windows Insider in the Fast Ring, you can get the latest update for Movies & TV (version 10.17032.1020.0) from the Windows Store here.
