MSI has unveiled new Windows 10 notebooks at its 30th Anniversary Gaming Night event at Computex. According to the company, the showcased laptops are built for gaming and are virtual reality-ready as well. The lineup includes the GT83/GT73 Titan SLI, GS63 Stealth Pro, GS73 and the Backpack PC.
The GT83 and GT73 Titan SLI are both equipped with the SLI design and are devised to take full advantage of virtual reality. The former boasts a NVIDIA GeForce GTX980 SLI GPU with 4K display surround mode in order to offer an immersive experience. On the other hand, the GT73 sports the lightest GTX980M SLI graphic card and also supports a single GTX980 GPU for gamers who want to enjoy games in 4K settings.
The GT83 and GT73 will both be available for in August for $4,500 and $2,500 respectively.
The GS63 Stealth Pro is a relatively slimmer laptop coming in at 17.7mm thick. The company promises an efficient and silent cooling system with the built-in Cooler Boost Trinity and Whirlwind Blades. The device hosts an Intel Core i7 6700HQ processor along with a NVIDIA GTX970M graphics card.
The GS63 Stealth Pro will retail for $1,600 when it is released in August.
Similarly, the GS73 Windows 10 laptop also incorporates a GTX970M GPU with the same cooling system as the GS63, but weighs in at 5kg. It also accommodates a SteelSeries gaming keyboard, a True Color display and Nahimic 2.0 to excel in both visual and audio fields.
The notebook will be available in August for a retail price of $1,700.
Lastly, MSI"s Backpack PC guarantees "new levels of performance and capabilities" with virtual reality in order to provide an immersive gaming experience. The device sports Intel Core i7 processors and also feature a GTX980 graphics card. Pricing and availability for said device have not been disclosed as of yet.
