Today, MSI announced the availability of its Bravo 15 and Bravo 17 gaming laptops, which are powered by AMD"s new 45W Ryzen 4000 H-series processors. They max out with a Ryzen 7 4800H, an octa-core CPU with 16 threads, a 2.9GHz base clock speed, and up to 4.2GHz boost clock speed. The 15-inch model also has an option for the hexa-core Ryzen 5 4600H.
For graphics, you"ll get the AMD Radeon RX 5500M, which gets you 4GB GDDR6 memory. That will power a 120Hz FHD display, which comes in 15.6- and 17.3-inch sizes. For cooling, it comes with MSI"s Cooler Boost 5, including two fans and six heat pipes to maximize airflow.
"Building on the success of our Alpha 15, the world’s first 7nm gaming laptop, we dedicated ourselves in researching and developing the best mid-range gaming laptop in the industry," said Andy Tung, President at MSI Computer Corp. "Our popular Thunderbird logo inspired our Alpha and Bravo lines, and continues to drive everything we do. We successfully doubled the power efficiency of the Bravo series compared to its previous generation, delivering a high performing laptop consumers can rely on, at a competitive price."
The PCs are available for pre-order now. You can get the Bravo 15 with 8GB RAM and the Ryzen 5 from Newegg for $929, with 16GB RAM and a Ryzen 7 for $999, and the Bravo 17 is available with 16GB RAM and a Ryzen 7 for $1,099.
