At CES back in January, MSI announced a bunch of new laptops aimed at gamers and creators. While MSI and other OEMs could vaguely say that these PCs would come with 10th-generation processors, those CPUs actually weren"t announced yet.
MSI announced today that you can now pre-order some of them, with availability on April 15. "The Creator 17, GE66 and GS66 combine advanced display technology with Intel’s 10th gen processing power to provide the highest performance on the go," said Andy Tung, President at MSI Computer Corp. "Whether it’s gaming, rendering video or multitasking, these laptops exceed the needs of power users so they can focus on their work or play."
Both gaming laptops, the GE66 Raider and the GS66 Stealth, are offered with up to an Intel Core i9-10980HK processor, while the Creator 17 comes with up to a Core i7-10875H chip. They all include Nvidia"s GeForce RTX SUPER graphics. On the GE66 Raider, those graphics power a 300Hz display.
The GS66 Stealth also offers a 300Hz display, with a sandblasted core black chassis. With its low-profile design, it"s meant to be suitable for both work and play. Both the GE66 and GS66 promise the world"s largest laptop battery at 99.9Whr.
The Creator 17 is a powerful 17-inch laptop that weighs in at under 5.5 pounds, and it comes in at 0.8 inches thin. The 17.3-inch screen is 4K and it"s bright at 1,000 nits, but it"s also the world"s first laptop with a Mini LED display.
You can pre-order the GS66 Stealth on Newegg here, starting at $1,599. The GE66 Raider and Creator 17 will start at $1,799, and all of these PCs will ship on April 15. MSI is also updating its other laptops, including the GT76 Titan, GS75 Stealth, GE75 Raider, GP75 Leopard, GL75 Leopard, GF75 Thin, and GF65/GF63 Thin, which are now available.
