This could be the most far out story of the day. The New York Post is reporting that Time Warner is in talks with Microsoft for a new business venture combining their flagship internet products. The new deal would combine Time Warner owned and operated, America Online, with MSN. The new business would have Time Warner and Microsoft equal partners combining the two largest dial up internet service providers into one joint product. Even more interesting, Time Warner is also having talks with Google and Yahoo should the MSN merger fall through. The whole plan definitely brings up anti-trust questions should the two largest dial-up ISPs combine.
