MySpace, Hulu and others roll out in Windows Live this week

Late last year, Microsoft announced a rather large list of partnerships with some of the web"s biggest social networks allowing Windows Live customers to share what they were doing with their network. Microsoft likes to call these "web activities". Earlier this spring one of the most popular social network sites joined the list of partners Microsoft had that powers web activities, was Facebook.

Today they once again have announced 23 new partnerships, for a total of 54 activities to choose from (A full list of web activities available on Windows Live can be found here). The new web activities that are going live today include:

Tistory, Libero, Limao, 11870.com, Goodreads, Judy"s Book, Tabelog, BuddyTV, Hulu, Nico Nico Douga, Qik, DKBN.dk, Mail.ru, MySpace, OleOle, Playahead, NewsVine, SayClubMe, Skyrock, Slideshare, Viadeo, Blingee, and. Photozou.

What is a web activity? Let"s say you"re a big fan of Digg.com, and you wanted your network to know everything you have dugg. Adding the Digg Web Activity to your Windows Live profile will allow everyone who has you in their network to see everything you have recently dugg via the "What"s New" feed on their Windows Live Homepage.

Also announced today is the ability to add contacts from AOL, Google, Hyves, and Tagged to your Windows Live Contacts. Managing your contact lists via Windows Live Contacts helps keep everyone you know in one unified place. Other contact list partners include Facebook, Hi5, LinkedIn, and Myspace.
