NeoBytes :) is an occasional feature that takes a step back from the big headlines, to take a look at what else is happening in the vast, scary expanse of the tech world - often with a cynical eye, always with a dose of humour.
If you thought "groufies" and a "selfie school" were silly, how does a "belfie" sound to you? That"s right, there is yet again a new experiment on the ever so popular selfie craze.
People behind the photo-centric social networking site ON.com has recently been inspired to create the "Belfie Stick," which aims to alleviate the difficulties of taking pictures of your posterior, well, your buttocks, to be more specific.
The "Belfie Stick," unlike a regular selfie stick or monopod, features a hinge halfway of the rod for easy adjustment to the angle a user prefers. This puts your smartphone in the ideal position, eliminating the need for a mirror.
Once ready to capture that perfect shot, just hit the button on the end of the stick, and tah-dah! There you have it; a perfectly captured photo of your backside. Kim Kardashian would be proud.
Now it"s all up to you on what to do next with those shots.
The Belfie Stick will set you back $80. Its software is available for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone. Interested? Visit their website here to pre-order.
