NeoBytes :) is an occasional feature that takes a step back from the big headlines, to take a look at what else is happening in the vast, scary expanse of the tech world - often with a cynical eye, always with a dose of humour.
Whether we like it or not, the "selfie" or the act of taking a self-portrait has taken the world by storm, making it normal to see someone taking a picture of themselves looking wacky in front of a phone or tablet.
Well it looks like a new kind of selfie stick is making its way to market by way of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, a cereal brand by the General Mills company. The "Selfie Spoon" is a selfie stick that allows you take pictures while enjoying your breakfast.
The rod extends up to 30 inches (76.2 centimeters), has a spoon on one end, while having a phone mount on the other end. The stick also comes with a remote. While this solution might not be ideal for everyone, it does provide a unique way for enthusiasts to capture breakfast moments."Gone are the days of eating a delicious breakfast, and all your friends not knowing about it," as the ad says.
The "Selfie Spoon" can be acquired for free, although the website is displaying that it is currently out of stock. Those who are interested can check the site for stock updates.
