There are many ways to transfer files between computers over the Internet, but most of them have serious security concerns or terms of service agreements that users may not agree with. Last month, Neowin reviewed a product called the iTwin that makes a secured connection between two computers (soon to be more) so that files can be transferred without fear of a malicious user stealing the files. Instead of a service like Dropbox having access to your files, everything is stored on your own PCs. While some may see the need to connect a physical USB token to each machine as an inconvenience, the classic two-factor authentication method is a great way to prevent an attacker from stealing your data by simply guessing your password.
We are now going to give the iTwin away to one lucky reader. The contest is open to everyone worldwide, as long as you can receive the shipment. There are three ways to enter and you can enter once per day:
1) Make a post below. We"d like to hear what you would use your iTwin for, although this is not required.
2) Re-tweet this post with the above Tweet button and add @iTwinTweet to the end of the tweet.
3) You can also gain an additional entry by "liking" us on Facebook if you haven"t already done so (one entry only).
The contest ends Wednesday, August 31 at 11:59PM EST.
Update: Congratulations to Sisero for winning the drawing!
