HP is a big believer of the all-in-one PC design approach. Today, the company announced it is launching four new all-in-one Windows 7 PC products; two designed for business and two for consumers. Perhaps the most impressive looking PC is the Envy 23, with its 23 inch monitor.
As described on the HP website, the Envy 23 comes standard with Beats Audio support. Users have the option of picking either Intel or AMD-based processors. It can also come with an optional HDMI port, Blu-Ray disc player or TV tuner. Pricing starts at $949.99 and it will go on sale in early August.
HP also launched the cheaper Pavilion 23 all-in-one PC, again with a 23 inch monitor but without the Beats Audio support or a way to put in some of the other options that the Envy 23 has. It"s pricing starts at $649.99 and it will go on sale in early August. Two more business all-in-one PCs, the HP Compaq Elite 8300 and the HP Compaq Pro 6300, were also announced today and will go on sale in early September.
While not mentioned in HP"s press release, The Verge reports that the company has also decided to kill off its Omni branding for its all-in-on PCs from now on. HP believes that it wants to keep its brand names consistent with that of its laptop product lineup.
