For the past few games in the Call of Duty series from Activision, the game publisher has released live action trailers to promote the mega popular first person shooters. They have a theme of people battling in real military fights, with the excuse is that is how multiplayer gamers see themselves while they are actually sitting on the couch or in front of a PC monitor.
Today, Activision released yet another one of these live action trailers to promote the latest Call of Duty game, Black Ops 2. As with the previous trailers, this one takes place in a worn torn location (Los Angeles of the near future) as various Black Ops II gamers see themselves on the ground battling each other with weapons and remote controlled units.
Two things about the trailer stand out. One is actor Robert Downey Jr. acting much like his Tony Stark/Iron Man persona, as he pilots a jet. The other is a afro wearing dude at the end of the clip who has to deal with a swarm of Black Ops II"s zombies with just a shotgun.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II, developed by Treyarch, will be released for the PC and other platforms on November 13th.
