Logitech unveils its new Cordless Precision Controller for Xbox at the CeBIT tradeshow in Germany.

Logitech has today unveiled the successor to its Cordless Controller for Xbox at the CeBIT tradeshow in Hanover, Germany. The Cordless Precision Controller will offer a number of improvements over the original, including a lower price ($49.99), smaller size, and half the battery requirement. Scheduled for release later this spring, the controller will work for at least 50 hours using just two AA batteries, and conserves battery life by entering a sleep mode if it is unused for more than five minutes.
