If you want a high resolution display for an all-in-one Windows-based PC, then Dell may have something to interest you. The PC maker today revealed its new XPS One 27, a 27-inch all-in-one PC. The biggest feature is the screen"s resolution support, which tops out at 2560x1440 (sorry, it"s not touch screen enabled).
The XPS One 27 has Intel Ivy Bridge-based processors inside, with the choice of either Core i5 or i7 models, along with support of up to 16 GB of RAM. There"s also support for up to 2 TB of hard drive storage or you can throw in a 320 GB SSD.
The PC also has both an HDMI Out (for connecting the XPS One 27 to an external monitor) and an HDMI In (if you want to hook up an Xbox 360 or PS3 game console). There"s options to put in a TV tuner along with a NVIDIA graphics card in place of the integrated Intel graphics chip.
The XPS One 27 is now on sale in Asia with pricing that will begin at $1,399. The PC won"t be put on sale in the US until sometime later this summer.
Dell also announced two more new, but smaller, all-in-one PCs today; the Inspiron One 23, starting at $749, and the Inspiron One 20, beginning at $529.
