Having only just been made available this morning for 800 Microsoft Points, player complaints are already surfacing that the new Fallout 3 content is suffering from some major issues.
Players are reporting that "textures and graphics are glitchy and bugged," and that the games freezes after a short time. Mysterious, floating exclamation points are scattered all over world signifying countless graphical faults.
The Pitt, which is the most recent of the Fallout 3 DLC installments, allows gamers to "battle vicious mutated Trogs, employ deadly new weapons like the AutoAxe and Infiltrator silenced assault rifle, and decide the fate of the infected slaves and slavers that call this city home."
Update: Having established that a corrupt file was to blame for todays earlier mishap, Bethesda have now pulled the content from Xbox Live.
"As of now it looks like the file for the English version on Xbox Live was somehow corrupted. We are currently working with Microsoft to remove the existing file off of Live to prevent any further downloads. Our plan is to replace it with a new file as soon as possible. We hope to have another update for you shortly."
Update: The new content is now fixed, and is available on Live. Simply delete the file from your HDD and re-download from the Marketplace
