New image sheds light on DJI's unannounced Mavic 2 Pro, and Mavic 2 Zoom

It was towards the beginning of the month that we got to see an alleged image of the unannounced DJI Mavic 2. Now, more details have emerged about its successor, which will apparently arrive in two specs.

The image comes from the latest catalog from United Kingdom retailer Argos. The catalog shows off two versions of the Mavic 2: the Mavic 2 Pro, and Mavic 2 Zoom. The Pro model will apparently feature a Hasselblad camera with a 1-inch CMOS sensor, while the Zoom will have a camera with 2x optical zoom and the ability to create a "Dolly Zoom" effect. As far as other details about the drones, the models should offer up to 31 minutes of flight time, omnidirectional obstacle sensing, top flight speed of 45 miles per hour, and more.

According to previous speculations, there is the possibility that the new drones by DJI will have swappable cameras. Since the camera can be detached, the firm could also offer a separate gimbal accessory, which the removable drone camera can be attached to. At the moment however, this is just speculation.

The firm did schedule an event for this month, but postponed it. If this catalog leak is any indication, the arrival of new drones could be imminent.
