For a time, there seemed to be an inconsistent batch of leaks that would pop up on the internet when it came to the next iPhone. However, over the past month, we are now seeing a more steady flow of information that portrays a handset without a physical home button on the front and a dual camera sensor on the rear.
New images posted by OnLeaks show off an iPhone that looks fairly familiar, showing off a front that dedicates a majority of its front real estate to a display. While it doesn"t appear to be curved, it does have precise cut-outs that make their way around the earpiece at the top.
On the rear, we can see a glossy black finish, which in the end, could arrive to retail as a glass back. This is highly likely considering that many rumors are pointing to Apple"s next handset offering wireless charging. Although this is all very interesting, there is still the matter of the Touch ID sensor, which has been a contention point for many of the rumors over the past couple of months.
If the images above are to be believed, it looks like the firm may be embedding its sensor under the display, since a fingerprint reader is not seen on the back, like they were in earlier models. Naturally, we will have to wait and see, as things can always change and the early information received is not always reliable.
