New Nintendo Wii Model Expected to Arrive for Holidays

Apparently, Nintendo has applied for a new universal product code in the U.S., meaning that the manufacturer had changed certain features of its highly-successful Wii game console. Speculation is leaning towards either DVD playback functionality, something which the company promised to do ahead of the launch, or a product bundle consisting of games and/or new game controllers and, perhaps, new colour of the console. Nintendo set the recommended retail price of the Wii at Â¥25 000 (about $204) in Japan, $249 in the U.S. and €249 ($342) in Europe.

Anyone care to take a guess at what the Japanese game maker has under its sleeve?
