New Nokia 3310, 3, 5 and 6 expected to launch in UK in May

At last week"s Mobile World Congress, HMD Global unveiled a range of new Nokia-branded handsets, including a modern interpretation of the classic Nokia 3310. Alongside that device, it also announced the new entry-level Nokia 3 and mid-range Nokia 5 Android smartphones, as well as confirming plans to bring its higher-end Nokia 6 to global markets, following its launch in China in January.

HMD said that the Nokia 3, 5 and 3310 would go on sale in Q2 of this year, but an exact launch date hasn"t yet been revealed. It appears that UK retailer Clove has narrowed things down a bit though, as its listings for those products state that they"re "expected in May".

Significantly, Clove has also published a store listing for the Nokia 6, despite Carphone Warehouse stating that it has the exclusive UK rights to sell the device. Clove says that it"s expecting stock of that handset in June - so it seems that the Nokia 6 may be a short-term exclusive for Carphone Warehouse, before stock is made available to other retailers a few weeks after its UK launch.

Carphone Warehouse said this week that interest in the new Nokia 3310 since its announcement has been "astonishing".
