New report reveals most specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+

Samsung Galaxy Tab S6

Samsung has its next Galaxy Unpacked event slated for August 5, which is less than a month away. In addition to the latest Galaxy Note flagship, the company is expected to announce a 5G variant of the Galaxy Z Flip and a successor to the Galaxy Fold at the event.

Samsung is also expected to announce a new duo of tablets sometime soon - the Galaxy Tab S7 and S7+. Now, a report from SamMobile claims to uncover almost all of the specs of the latter of those devices.

The Galaxy Tab S7+ is expected to come with a 12.4-inch display to rival the larger variant of the iPad pro, and it features a 2800x1752 resolution. While it"s been suggested that it will sport a 120Hz refresh rate, there"s no mention of that here. There"s a fingerprint reader under the display, and of course, S Pen support.

As mentioned previously, the tablet will apparently be powered by Qualcomm"s new Snapdragon 865+ chipset which was announced just yesterday, and there will be LTE-only and 5G variants, though only sub-6GHz 5G will be supported. It will also come with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage, which is expandable via microSD cards. The battery is 10,090mAh, and there"s no quick charging at 25W or 45W as seen on Samsung"s flagship phones.

Finally, the camera setup will be similar to last year"s Tab S6, with a 13MP+5MP dual-camera setup on the back and an 8MP front-facing camera. In terms of software, the tablet should run Android 10 with Samsung"s OneUI 2.5 on top of it.

It"s been suggested that the Galaxy Tab S7 duo could be announced during the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5, but it"s worth noting that last year, the Galaxy Tab S6 was announced prior to that.
