Lenovo first showed us the IdeaPad Yoga 13 at CES in January and now the company has released a new video showing off the upcoming notebook-tablet hybrid in action as part of its IFA press announcements this week.
The Lenovo YouTube page shows how the IdeaPad Yoga 13 can be configured in four different ways; in addition to its straight notebook and tablet formations, the device can also be set up to work in "stand" mode, where the screen can be moved to a position where it is facing a user while the keyboard is hidden beneath.
The other mode is the "tent" position where the device is set up to look like, well, a tent where the touch screen is again facing one user while the keyboard is available on the other side for another person to use.
There are rumors that Lenovo will launch the IdeaPad Yoga 13 as its first product that will run on Windows RT, Microsoft"s variant of Windows 8 that runs on ARM-based processor designs. So far, Lenovo has not confirmed or denied that will happen with this hybrid.
Lenovo has already announced plans to release the ThinkPad Tablet 2, a Windows 8 Pro tablet that will launch in late October.
