New video shows off Lenovo's upcoming slider phone

Although Lenovo only teased its slider design handset last week, it looks like now, we are getting to see more of the phone - this time, in action.

The video, which has now been posted to YouTube via MySmartPrice, looks to have originally been posted on Weibo. The phone is being called the Z5 Pro and features a near bezel-less display with an in-display fingerprint reader. Of course, this in itself would be impressive, but Lenovo has taken things a step further and made the phone with a slider design.

Oppo and Vivo have both introduced smartphones that offer smaller bezels and because of this, have had to think outside the box when it comes to design. Both companies have chosen to employ a motorized pop-up camera, while it looks like Lenovo and Xiaomi will take a different approach with its manual slider design.

As we start getting closer to having phones with very little to no bezel on the front, it is becoming clear that manufacturers are having to come up with clever ways of keeping all the necessary parts that make a phone work, but at the same time, offer a design that is somewhat alluring.
