The flood of information about the upcoming iPhone has been steady the past few months and now it looks like the design is finally being solidified. While earlier leaks showed off a handset with a Touch ID sensor on the rear, in the later models, the sensor has now disappeared, which could indicate that Apple mastered the technology to embed it into the display. While we won"t know for sure until the handset is released, a new video of a dummy model has arrived, giving us our best look yet of the upcoming handset.
Naturally, it"s tough to know whether things of this nature are real, but if indications from case manufacturers are a clue, there is a very high chance that the dummied iPhone in this video represents what will arrive later this year.
As mentioned before, the handset will most likely feature an OLED display with a Touch ID sensor that is embedded under the glass, a dual camera setup, wireless charging, and will be waterproof. Unfortunately, unlike previous releases, this one could be a bit more limited, as it was reported yesterday that Apple is experiencing some issues when it comes to the yield of the display.
Although it is interesting to see, we will have to wait a few more months until the official announcement to see whether this is the design that will make it to retail.
