Next Windows 10 Redstone PC build delayed, but Mobile build 14322 could arrive this week

At its Build 2016 developer conference last month, Microsoft announced the upcoming Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The first preview of that update following that announcement made its way to Windows Insiders on the Fast ring last week as build 14316 for PCs.

While that build included some of the features that Microsoft had shown off at Build, many others were absent, and Insiders were hoping to get their hands on more of these features in a fresh build of the OS this week.

We hit a problem with our PC build candidate for this week, so looks likely at this point it will be next week for next Fast ring PC build.

However, Microsoft"s Gabe Aul said today that an unspecified issue has been identified in the latest PC build that had been lined up for release. It appears that build 14322 was the candidate that would have rolled out this week, but instead, Gabe said that Insiders will likely have to wait until next week for a new Fast ring build to arrive for PCs.

On the Windows 10 Mobile front, build 14316 was held back from rolling out last week due to the discovery of a bug in the latter stages of the evaluation process.

@thurrott We are still aiming for a Mobile build this week. Evaluating 14322 right now, but no guarantees - ring criteria will decide :)

However, Gabe says that Windows 10 Mobile build 14322 is being evaluated, and could arrive this week, but there are "no guarantees".
