Last year, Nextbit teased a handset that could get better with age. A month later, the Nextbit Robin was officially introduced to the world, offering a unique Android handset that could utilize the power of the cloud to make itself more efficient. If you missed your chance to purchase the Robin on Kickstarter, the company is now offering the device on Amazon for a special price.
To celebrate its Amazon launch, the company is offering the handset at the special Kickstarter "early adopter" price of $299 USD. The promotional price will be valid for the first week of sales, ending on May 10th.
Although not the latest in hardware specifications, the Robin does offer some decent internals for the price, including:
