The Nexus 9 tablet from Google seems to have reached its end of life, as the company has removed the HTC made device from its online store, leaving buyers with the Pixel C as the only tablet option.
Google usually stocks Nexus devices on its store for the same duration as their official software support, which is 18 months. The company launched the Nexus 9 tablet in partnership with HTC towards the end of 2014 and has now removed it from the Google Store.
The $399 tablet is still available from other sources such as Amazon, where it was recently being sold for just £199.99 in the UK. HTC was also seen bundling the tablet with a purchase of its One M9 smartphone not too long ago.
For those who wish to get the pure Android experience with at least two more guaranteed updates, could go for the Pixel C tablet, which was launched by Google in September.
