Nike's $720 HyperAdapt 1.0 self-lacing shoe will arrive on December 1st

After teasing the world in March, Nike will finally make its first retail version of a self-lacing shoe, the HyperAdapt 1.0, available for purchase on December 1st.

Unfortunately, you won"t be able to walk into your local shoe store and pick up a pair. Instead, the shoe will only be available at two locations in the New York area - the Nike Soho store and the NIKE+ ClubHouse at 45 Grand. The HyperAdapt 1.0 will be priced at $720 USD, and will be available exclusively to Nike+ members.

Those that are currently Nike+ members might be invited as part of a special group that will have early access to the shoe on November 28th. If curious, you will want to check the NIKE+ app in the “Reserved for You” section, to see whether a purchase opportunity is available. For those not located in New York and not willing to travel, the shoe will become available more widely in late December on Nike+ and at Nike stores in the United States.
