We are about two weeks away from the launch of the Nintendo Switch and while the firm has not released any more details about the console or the revamped online service, it appears that someone has gotten their hands on the console early and posted a video.
In the video, we get to see what the setup process looks like on the Switch that includes the language menu, setting up your account, choosing an account icon, time zone, and more. The video also gives us a good look at the menu system that includes a news area, the eShop (not active), photo album, controllers options, and system settings.
The system settings include some of the more interesting portions where we get to see the screen brightness setting, the screen lock, themes (light and dark), and how much storage is being used by the Switch OS (25.9GB free) out of the box. While this could be some elaborate hoax, the effort involved in creating something this detailed would take quite some effort, but as always, take caution.
The Switch will be available through retail channels starting on March 3 for $299.99. There will a handful of games available on launch day, with one of the main titles being The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
