Nintendo held a teleconference early this morning to fuel more detailed information regarding the November 21st launch of the Nintendo DS handheld system, set to retail for 149.99. This teleconference, hosted by Nintendo execs Perrin Kaplan, Reggie Fils-Aime and George Harrison, recapped much of last night"s information, including the aforementioned release dates in the US (Nov. 21st) and in Japan (December 3), as well as the launch price ($149.99), which includes the system with PictoChat built into the hardware.
The package will also include a demo version of Metroid Prime Hunters, subtitled First Hunt, which will give players a taste of both the single player and multiplayer aspects of the game design. Reggie Fils-Aime made note that "the game has improved for the better" since the original E3 demo, with controls and functionality enhanced since its public debut more than five months ago.
